When the F1 Grand Prix was held in Istanbul on the 26th and 27th of August, I was there!
When the F1 Grand Prix is going to be held on the 1st of October in Shanghai, I'm also going to be there!
Best thing is, its China's National Day!! Seems like they have fireworks and fun stuff happening along The Bund. I think I'll make a trip there for once. Though I've been to Shanghai a few times, I never did go see the famous "Shanghai Tan". Historically, that place is a really significant part of China and full of colour and excitement in its early years. With its segmented towns based on the various nations that "occupied" it during the early years in the 1900's, I'm sure there should be quite a bit to see unless modernisation has bulldozed its way through.
Anyway, just read the news that Thailand has been taken over by a military coup...not good...
